I wouldn't say vegan oriented, or friendly menu, BUT! The chef and staff seem more than friendly to make changes and work with you.
Not cheap. Plan on at least $20 a person. Tasty though!
The food here is to die for. I love the Salmon dish the best. Comes with mashed potatoes. Yum!!
When we went there wasn't any items advertised as gluten free. However, we asked the waitress and she pointed out items that were gluten free.
A very nice, quaint restaurant. We arrived at opening, and got great waiting service and food was delicious. The chef made the time to meet, greet and speak with us. Really made the experience and added to the caring attitude. Food was pricier, but definitely worth it, especially for the location.
Great place. I especially like the level of attention to detail the waitress gave to me during our dinner service. I highly recommend.
Best mushroom risotto that I e had since leaving Chicago!! Top notch entrees and the wait staff are awesome! Dont think just do it
Amazing food, with a seasonal rotating menu (good for the environment 👍). Portions were a little smaller than you'll normally find in an American restaurant but it was the perfect amount of food for me. My friend I was dining with was a little hungry after finishing his meal, but we each got a dessert and he got so full eating his dessert that he took half home. The desserts were spectacular. Cozy setting, small seating area so it never gets too loud. Will be back, at least once every season to try the new menu :)
This place is fantastic. The food is incredible and the service is just as good. The executive chef Ala’ah walks around and visits with customers, and she is so kind! This place is a MUST if you are looking for a stunning yet relaxed atmosphere with food that’s absolutely to die for.
When the had the buffet, that was the best part. The food is great and it's a nice place
The service was absolutely awesome the steak was cooked perfectly the fettuccine was amazing and the raspberry torte is to die for
Sat down quickly and then waited for about 15 min before the waiter came to our table. Poured water and then offered no drinks at any point during dinner. Pointed out the 5 things they were out of on the menu before ordering. After finally being able to order what was left, waiter came back multiple times to the table to tell us they were out of something and we all ended up ordering something different than what we wanted.
Great food friendly staff. Thanks Ti for the heads up about the mix grill...
Very nice meals;))) grilled mix and soup is delicious.
The food here is really good but the desserts are what stand out to me. The wait time is pretty long every time I have been here. The prices are a bit steep so its definitely an occasional restaurant.
Romantic dining. Excellent wine selection. Mid Eastern fare, some Italian.
Food was solid but it took forever for it to come. Waited 1.5hrs after ordering for our streak and combination platter. When it came, it was very good, the streak was nicely cooked, the kebabs were flavorful and juicy, the rice had nice saffron. But it was a bit frustrating. Service was also super nice, so overall a good experience.
The restaurant has gone through multiple owners or perhaps just styles. The recent one is Mediterranean. The food is filling, simple, limited perhaps, the staff is nice. I do miss the old dessert menu with a variety of cakes and pastries.
Just had the most amazing dessert, really an exceptional combination of flavors- Rooibos infused pannacotta w/cookie crumbles, candied orange peel, hibiscus syrup and basil whipped cream with bee pollen. Unique, beautiful, and absolutely delicious!
Hi-end restaurant with excellent cuisine. Don't be in a hurry! The dry aged steaks are totally worth it.
Great food and service. Had the hummus with steak tips as an appetizer and the Wolf Run Grille for dinner. Hummus was delicious and will order again... Dinner was also delicious and all 4 in our party enjoyed theirs. Will return!
The ambience is great, we had a knowledgeable waitress and the Alaskan salmon was to die for! We are coming back! The map to tge entrance is wrong though. It makes you turn to a street with a different name though. If you wait to find the street, it is too late! There are no other entrances.
Great food. Good atmosphere. The deserts will blow you away.
The food was fantastic. Very authentic middle eastern with a great American steak option. Will be back for the drive aged ribeye.
Nice people, great food, great service with a Superb presentation on the dish that tasted like it should have come from a super, super expensive restaurant. If you have not eaten at Wolf Run, you are missing out on the best place to eat in Fairbanks. I travel all over the USA and Canada. This place is at the top of my list. Wishing you a successful endeavor. From Lloyd, President of Right Track Corporation.
This place is AMAZING. Great staff, atmosphere, and delicious food. I strongly suggest to get desert first. They have homemade pies and cakes. The Raspberry Chocolate gnash just melts in your mouth! Definitely our new go to spot!
Amazing desserts! Great food and the staff was kind and attentive.
Very nice and cozy restaurant with great food. It serves great middle eastern foods. We had hummus for starters and it was delicious. The bread that goes with the hummus was done just right. The mixed grilled that I had was delicious, well favored and seasoned. So far one of the best meals we had in Fairbanks. The service was great. The restaurant setting was comfortable. Completely enjoy the dinner we had.
Everything was excellent from food to service! I never finish half a plate of anything but tonight I had a little bit left over. The portion was good. I recomend coming here for a dinner date. We'll definitely be back for more!
Great food. Not friendly wait staff. I felt we were given the cold shoulder when we walked in with our twin 2-year olds. After water was poured, I had to ask for cups for the kids as well. Knives and wine glasses were placed in front of my toddler by waitress. We had no napkins for the meal. A second waitress asked if my kids were twins, only to respond “oh, that’s tough.” It’s not like they were out of control either. 🤷♀️
Service was prompt, polite, attentive & food was delicious. A great date night spot.
Out of ideas and changed order with out asking. Red potatoes not cooked. Would not recommend. Would give zero stars if could.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience. Our server was helpful and entertaining. Food was amazing! Definitely get the hummus plate. The aged ribeye is 100% worth the price.
This is a nice restaurant with decent atmosphere. The waitress was extremely nice and attentive ( girl with tattoos..sorry don't remember your name). Unfortunately they were in the middle of changing their menu so some things were not available. Not withstanding the food was good, nothing spectacular but we will go back to try the new menu. I am a very strick critic when it comes to food so please do not take three stars as bad review, I would have given them 3 1/2 if possible. The fact that we are willing to go back makes this one the best 3 restaurants in Fairbanks.
We have been here a couple times. The menu is small but all of the dishes are delicious. My wife and I love every single dish we have ordered. Their coffee cake desert is incredible. The restraint is fairly small but very well furnished. A very nice semi formal to formal atmosphere to eat it.
Went there for dinner. Food was good and served fast. No hour long wait like someone else had stated. Service was fantastic. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive.
Wolf's Run is amazing. It is a small, intimate restaurant with what is probably the best food in Fairbanks. The service is phenomenal, Anthony is friendly and energetic and Alex, the chef, is a master of his craft.
Great food! Friendly staff, excellent service (despite being understaffed during Covid-19), lovely & rustic atmosphere.
Great food and great service. Great atmosphere. Try it out. I know you will enjoy it, as much as I did. Yum. Either for a romantic night out, on the town, or a business meal, or, a celebratory dinner, excellent choice.
Very good food. The staff was friendly and took care of our party of 8. Worth finding
We drove into Fairbanks later at night and saw that Wolf Run was one of the few places open after 8pm. The inside of the restaurant was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The sign on the outside said reservations were preferred but since we were showing up later at night, we didn't have a problem getting a table. I ordered the lamb chops and the wife ordered the pork chops. The food was tasty but it wasn't amazing. Overall a good place to eat.
Really cute place, interesting interior with velvet Victorian seating chairs in a cabin environment. Parking lot can get full, there's more in back. Chicken corn soup is great. Salmon sandwich is pretty good.
Great place great food, but the service was well let's just say it's in Fairbanks
The food was delicious and the service was good
Cozy and homey atmosphere. We ordered the tenderloin with mashed potatoes and also the salmon, the Riesling wine was great. Very friendly service.
This place gets tons of hype, but the several times I've been the foods taste and description doesn't match the price... waaay overpriced for what you get. Service has been ok at best. The atmosphere is pretty decent tho. The only strong positive I can give for wolf run is the deserts.. go somewhere else to eat and go there for some pie
Very friendly staff and incredible food and drinks. Would definitely visit again, although the second floor isn't insulated very well and the food got cold very fast if seated by the walls or window. Menu has a decent variety of options. Restaurant was very clean and table service was perfect.
Food was great, wine selection was good and our serve was knowledgeable and a sweetheart.
Cozy restaurant with good food uniquely prepared. Better than most Fairbanks restaurants.
Wolf Run has quality food in a quiet atmosphere.
Amazing staff, good atmosphere, and even better food!
Great place, nice and neat. Exquisite food, sauces are to die for! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, family oriented seatings! Separate cozy dining room provides privacy and encourages friendly conversation. You will want to set your cell phones aside and just enjoy the evening out with friends and family!
*UPDATE**Due to the kindness and consideration of management personally reaching out to check into our encounter I am more than willing to raise my rating and give this place another try. Thank you for the respect and kindness. We will see you soon and look forward to trying the new menu!**Original post: Normally we have enjoyed our meals here but the hostess was beyond rude and hushed us at the front. We waited to be seated, even though there were mostly open tables we waited until she gushed us and told us to be quiet! I understand this is a small restaurant. But instead of being rude while friends greet each other and visit while waiting to be seated have some tact! We walked out and spent our money elsewhere. Have yet to go back. Never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally in a restaurant. This management needs to have a talk with staff about keeping their personal issues at home and how to treat customers with respect.
This place is my new “Go-To” in Fairbanks. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the hummus to start. The aged ribeye was buttery and delicious, along with the risotto and greens. My friends also said the deserts were incredible, though I was too full to eat anything after my meal.
